Rimmel London "Wake Me Up" Foundation review

hellooooo, been a while!
sorry, been hectic revising for my exams, i'm in my final year of a levels, and trust me - DO NOT TAKE GEOGRAPHY! never wanted to cry so much at a subject in my life.
1 exam down... 2 to go!

anyways, i purchased a new foundation about 2-3 weeks ago, and decided to give this bad boy a go.
Rimmel London "Wake Me Up" Foundation
[mines in shade 203, true beige]

The product states - "our first makeup that instantly reawakens skin with a healthy, radiant glow and minimizes premature skin ageing. A light, smooth texture for natural, 100% poreless coverage instantly eliminates signs of tiredness and lifts skin from fatigue. Radiance pearls illuminate for a healthy, radiant glow. Flawless natural finish. Peptides increase elasticity so skin recovers and bounces back more quickly. SPF 15 protects."
In fairness, i do love this foundation, however a word of warning, if you have OILY skin, stay clear, the moisturiser and the texture of the foundation will leave you with even more oily skin.
Firstly, and this is a weird one, but i have to say that this foundation smells gorgeous, it doesnt have that... rubbery, foundation smell that most of my other products have, this one however is scrumptious! i love the packaging and the look of the bottle, with the quirky orange lid.
Onto the actual product, well as said before, the foundation has a moisturiser built in meaning your skin becomes softer, which i love, also this builds up gradually, i dont use moisturiser at the moment because of this foundation, and my skin is probably more softer now. a downside to the product is the coverage, i have found that one layer of the foundation is not enough, and ive had to build this up with 2 layers, however this is the same with most of my foundations. another point is that like i said before, it does add to the oil within your skin, especially when you have oily skin, and i have found that around my forehead, it can become extremely oily and i have found that i need to reapply powder to counteract the oil (a place where my skin is generally oily.) Although the coverage is not perfect, i have found it helps the dark circle under my eyes (its inherited - damn) but it makes them appear brighter, along with the overall appearence of my face, it does actually have the healthy glow that it states it will give, along with this it lasts quite a long time, i do not feel the need to re-apply so often.
overall, i love this foundation

have you tried this product? Let me know what you think!
holls. x
