Seventeen Flawless Poreless Primer review

So I'm trying to change up some of my make up, and try different brands and different things at the moment. I decided I'd pick up this little beauty when I was in my local Boots shop, as I have never tried any 'Seventeen' products, and I was in desperate need of a primer. I usually use the GOSH Velvet Touch Foundation primer, however I wanted a bit of a change.
First thoughts of this product is that is it silky soft, glides on your face easily and isn't that gloopy mess you can sometimes find yourself in with some primers. After using it with my daily make up I found that it was good at a base for my make up - it doesn't leave my skin feeling an oily mess like sometimes I find with primers and it lasted nearly all day at keeping my t-zone from spoiling my make up (I find my make up tends to get a bit oily around my forehead and nose area)
It leaves your skin looking smoother, and 'poreless', and as it states is a 'smoothing skin perfecter' which it actually does do the job quite nicely.
I think the only downside to this is that it's in a compact - it's awful for applying - I've tried every way possible, but the only way really is with your hands. I prefer to use a pump, especially with primer as it gives an easier application.
Overall, I think this is a perfect primer for someone beginning in make up, or someone who wants to try new items out. It left my face a lot smoother and slightly "poreless" but I don't think it's as good as some of the higher end primers.
Have you tried the Seventeen flawless Poreless primer? What did you think?
Holls x
