'Little bits of heaven' recipe

So, as a chocolate lover I'm guilty of trying to make the most yummy treats I can, and I'll admit I can cook but baking is not my skill.
So here's a no bake recipe for all you chocolate lovers.
I'll warn you before it is packed with calories and will fill you up quickly!
• 3-4 bars of chocolate. Any type just not cooking chocolate.
• digestive biscuits
• marshmellows - any sort will do, but the normal size ones work better
• after eights (not essential but are nice for the base
• margarine (if you want to make the base a bit more creamy)
1. Prepare all your ingredients ready for making.
• Break all the chocolate up into pieces. You'll need 1/1.5 bars of chocolate for the base along with 5-6 After Eights and 2-3 bars for the topping.
• Cut your marsh mellows in half, using a pair of scissors is the easiest option.
• Prepare your tin for placing your mixture in - I used quite a flat one, and added tin foil around so it was easier to get it out afterwards

2. Next prepare the biscuits. I used 8 biscuits to make my base and it made 16 servings. Place your biscuits in a bag and use a rolling pin to crush until the biscuits are like bread crumbs
3. Next, take a pan and a bowl. Heat some water in the pan, until it's simmering, not boiling or you'll overheat the chocolate and 'burn' it. Place the bowl over the pan and add the bases chocolate and your After Eights in the bowl. Stir until it's all melted.
(At this point you can add butter to your chocolate if you want - stir in until completely melted.)
4. Take the bowl from the pan - be careful because it's extremely hot. Add the crushed biscuits and mix until they are completely covered in chocolate.
5. Next, take your mixture and smooth it into the tin - you want it quite thin as the marshmellows and topping will make them quite thick. Use the back of a spoon to smooth it all down.
6. Now add your marshmellows - you want about 1-2cm gap in between as the marshmellows will be in the middle of your bites.
7. Next, melt your topping chocolate, using the same method as the 'base' chocolate step.
8. Once your chocolate is completely melted, pour over your base and marshmellows until all completely covered
9. Place your mixture in the fridge for about 4-5 hours or until it's all completely cooled.

10. Finally cut all the chocolate to the size you want. I changed between having the marshmellows in the middle to having them at the size
11. Enjoy!
Hope you enjoyed the slightly different post. Let me know if you make these! Would love to see your photos!
