My Top 5 prducts of 2015

Rather than a December favourites I thought I'd share my top 5 items of 2015, trust me it was hard getting only 5, but let's get to it..

Number 5 on my best products of 2015 is the Benefit 'They're Real!' Mascara. I have used this before but then stopped, however I've recently started to love this mascara all over again! I got the mini sized version in the 'Dew the Hoola' kit for Christmas and I wanted I use this one before buying the full sized product, hence why it's the mini sized one in the photograph. I love my lashes big and looking fuller and this mascara does the job perfectly. The brush is a perfect shape to help enhance your lashes and it allows just the right amount of product onto your lashes to create a bold look, without the clumps. It is very easy to build up your lashes too, just one application gives a subtle look whereas 2-3 coats makes your lashes stand out. I love this mascara.

Next up, number 4 on my list. It's the No7 Stay Perfect foundation. I have used this for a few years now switching between two of the No7 foundations, however I've found this is the best one for me. I have to say it's one of the best foundations I've ever used.. Actually no, it is the best. I would say it's a medium-full coverage depending on how much you use, however it creates a beautiful base for your make up, along with being light weight on your skin, you barely notice you're wearing any. It is easy to blend, and feels very smooth once on, plus it has a nice smell to it - getting a bit weird now, sorry! Another brilliant factor is that it has a pump, so you can get a good amount of product out with just one pump. I use both my foundation brush and my beauty blender to apply this. I've tried a number of foundations over the pat few years but nothing comes close to this one!

Number 3 is the Nivea Double Effect eye make up remover. I have recently wrote a post about my skin care routine which this product features in. I have use this for a few months now, I couldn't be without it now. It effectively removes eye make up, including waterproof mascara, and it doesn't cause any irritation, like I have found some eye make up removers do. I have really sensitive skins too, and this has never caused me any problems. Such a brilliant product!

Just missing out on the top spot of my favourite products of 2015 is the Lumi Magique pure light primer. As you'll probably be able to tell if you read a lot of my posts, I found out about new products through youtubers or bloggers, and this product is no different, a lot of people have said amazing things about this primer and believe me it doesn't disappoint. I was searching for a good primer for a while and decided to try this mid 2015. It's fantastic, it has a pump which allows the right amount of product, trust me a little goes a log way. It gives a lovely illusion of glowing skin, with it's metallic look, without the overkill of shimmer or glitter, so it's perfect for every day use. I use it mainly on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and parts of my forehead and it does illuminate the skin a lot. You can really notice the effect of this primer, it's brilliant.

Finally, my best product of 2015, is the Maybelline Instant anti-age the eraser eye concealer, bit of a mouthful! I have read so many reviews on this and never believed it would be that good, wow it is! I use the shade 'light' for concealing under my eyes and as a highlighter for the bridge of my nose, along with the shade 'nude' for concealing the redness around my nose and any spots. I have never found a concealer that works so well to help cover my dark circles, trust me they are normally so dark (damn genetics!) It's so easy to apply with the sponge applicator which is included in with the packaging - I tend to apply it onto my skin with the sponge then use my beauty blender to blend it out. I will be posting a full review hopefully next week about this, watch this space!

Hope you all enjoyed my top products of 2015. What are yours? Let me know in the comments!

Holls xo
