E.L.F Haul

Recently I bought a few, well a lot, of new products from E.L.F. They had a period of, I believe a year, where they didn't have a shop in the U.K, so it made buying their products very hard, as shipping from the USA was really expensive. Then the wonderful email came that they were back and I was honestly so excited. It took me a while, but I finally placed an order and couldn't be happier. They also had a special offer at the time that meant if you spent over £25 you got a free kit worth, I believe, £25, and I chose the Natural Glow one. So here is what I got!

E.L.F foundation brush - this is something I mentioned in my January favourites, I love this brush. It doesn't shed, it's so smooth and picks up the right amount of powder. I'm currently using this with my Rimmel London Stay Matte powder and it's brilliant!
Lipstick in 'Nostalgic' - again this is another product featured in my January favourites. It's very well pigmented and is a beautiful nude/pink tone, I love this.
Hydrating under eye primer - I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and I'm still not sure about this. It had such amazing reviews so I jumped at the chance to purchase this but I'm not sure if I'm kidding myself as to this working. It has a pink tone which helps reduce dark circles, and it is hydrating. However it takes a long time to dry and seems to make my concealer look patchy. Any help if anyone has tried it?
Tone correcting powder (cool) - this is another product that again I'm not so sure about. I had a similar one before from E.L.F however that one wasn't a powder and more a cream-like consistency, and it was horrible so this is a million times better. I did all my research on colour correcting, but it's not the easiest product to transfer onto the skin and it is quite light product, which makes it quite hard to create a good colour correction.
Cream eyeliner - I have wanted to try one of these for a while now, and I was torn between this one and the Kate moss for Rimmel London cream eyeliner. However I bought this one instead as it was slightly cheaper and I thought I'd see how this one panned out. I'm actually quite surprised how much I like this. It glides on easily, lasts all day and is really pigmented. The only thing I don't like is the brush applicator that comes with it, it's very small and is quite harsh on your eyes.
Instant brow lift pencil - Again this was something completely different for me to try, as I use a gel or powder for my brows. This is one thing I was excited to try and I'm pretty disappointed, but I think it's purely because I can't get on with it, as it's a bit too harsh for me. The product itself is good, it is pigmented enough to help shape your brows along with defining them and the brush is good too. It is worth the money if you'll actually use it but I think I'll be sticking to what I know.
Eye Crease brush - overall this is brilliant, it's soft, does its job and is well worth the money. Well done ELF, another brilliant brush.

And finally, E.L.F ran an amazing offer  so I got all these free..

Contouring Kabuki Brush - I was amazed to get this as a freebie with the offer, and I was actually going to purchase this but it said it was out of stock. It's such a brilliant brush, it's soft, doesn't shed and is the perfect shape for whatever you want to use it for.
Lash extending mascara - I wasn't sure about this mascara when I first took it out of the packaging the brush seemed really flimsy and the product seemed quite sticky, however once I used it I became hooked. It's amazing at lengthening the lashes, and glides on so easily. A big favourite of mine now!
Shimmer lip gloss (Believe) - I'm not a fan of lip gloss and especially not shimmer ones so this wasn't something I liked. It is a nice golden tone though.
Blush (Tickled Pink) - I was pleasantly surprised by this. I absolutely love it, it's a beautiful shade and has a VERY subtle shimmer to it which I love.
Baked eyeshadow (chocolate dreams) - I've only used this product once so far but it has been really good. It has a very subtle shimmer to it, whereas I didn't think I'd like it at first because it did look to have a lot of glitter in, it's also easy to apply.
Lip Kiss Balm (smoochy spice) - again, not a product I would normally use but I'm surprised by how much I like it, a good dupe for the Benebalm lip tint.

[top - bottom: hydrating under eye primer,  blush in Tickled Pink, lip kiss balm in smoochy spice, lipstick in shade Nostalgic, instant brow lift pencil in dark brown, baked eyeshadow in chocolate dreams]

Hope you enjoyed the haul and little bit of a review. What products are you loving by E.L.F at the moment?

Holls xo
